We are just living the American Dream!

I came across this comment on another blog. Since the writer didn’t have a link to a blog or website I am not giving his name out or providing a link. I found it very profound and wanted to share it with all my independent thinkers/readers.

“USA K-12 school students are indoctrinated by “the system” to be good little droids for their elite-class masters. Colleges are similar.
That is why the elites ensure their spawn do not attend public schools. Heck, most private schools also brainwash youth!!! The elites KNOW which schools to send the “fruit of their loins” to ensure their kids learn reality and avoid indoctrination/brainwashing.
Wealth and power…. entire systems; political, education, economic, etc. are created to concentrate as much wealth and power into as few hands as possible.
Then, the propaganda fire is lit to convince the masses that as “things” are is correct, proper and as it should be and if you disagree…… then, assuredly, you ARE a Commie, a terrorist, unAmerican, unpatriotic, a socialist, whatever the buzz-word or term of the era is being used to describe those who can shun the indoctrination intended to make the masses complacent sheep bleating with delight at the actions of their masters.
Sadly, my parents, my entire extended family, were and are those complacent sheep who were brainwashed so thoroughly their belief that as things are IS as it should be will never change.
Yep… indoctrination so intense that when I mention that an elite class even exists I hear the knee-jerk rhetoric of “Well, if you don’t like how things are why don’t you move to another country?”, and they MEAN it!!!!!
Ponder that!!!! Indoctrination so intense that there exists family members willing to tear apart FAMILY while retaining loyalty to systems created by an elite class!!!!
Such a complicated topic with obtaining wealth to allow survival just a minute aspect of the subject.

Job creation has been disappointing, but first-quarter corporate profits were up 44 percent from a year earlier. Consumers are nervous, but the Dow, which was below 8,000 on the day President Obama was inaugurated, is now over 10,000. In a rational universe, American business would be very happy with Mr. Obama.–

Life of luxury? Rolls Royce on the whole is doing well, too: the company is already on track to double 2009′s sales in 2010. A large portion of the new growth is coming–unsurprisingly–from China.

How come China is a Communist country and definitely an economic and military rival and we trade with them and ship jobs over there like it’s going out of style. But Cuba is a Communist country and we have boycotted them for over 40 years? That’s kind of strange. I wonder if anyone could explain that.

Not a proponent of bigger government but Better Government!

I would really like some feedback on how YOU feel about the economic system in America. Is it fair? Are taxes fair? If you think the rich should pay more, does that make you a socialist/communist? Do average Americans have any idea how much wealth the top %’s have?

Is there anywhere in politics for moderates?

I was a member of the 9.12 project. I quit. It wasn’t what I was looking for. I was a member of RedState. I quit. It wasn’t what I was looking for. I would never join MoveOn.org. Any group that would take out a full page ad playing games with Gen. Petreus as Gen. “Betray-us” is repulsive to me (which they’ve since taken down from their website). I’m like Moses wandering in the desert looking for the Promise Land. The problem with politics on the internet is it’s just group think. The Right Wing site say,” Blah,Blah,Blah Democrats are bad!” The Liberal site say’s,”Blah,Blah,blah, Republicans are bad!”

Meanwhile their audience just nods there head and logs on looking to have their views spoon-fed to them that what you feel is OK. Everyone here feels the same way.  Where is the political discourse? Where is the time honored American tradition of compromise? It’s no where! No where on the most influential medium of our time. The internet.

I’m sure that members of the conservative/right will have no problem with their newsletters and forums convincing 100% of Republican voters to vote Republican. I’m also sure that 100% percent of liberal/progressive newsletters and forums will convince 100% of Democratic voters to vote Democratic. Unfortunately elections are won and lost by independents. These groups vote with their brains. The others vote with their hearts.

This is a comment I received from a group I belong to-

“even when I read a post from a moderate I have to blink and shake my head. It is like that song, “You have to stand for something or you’ll fall for anything”. Even Charlie Brown was teased because he could not make a sound decision on anything.”

There are SO many things wrong with that comment. Number 1. You can’t take advice from song lyrics.  That’s like me saying whenever I read a post from a liberal/conservative it’s like that song, “She’s buying a Stairway to Heaven”. And to take advice or see any symbolism amongst Charlie Brown cartoons is unreal. I mean Snoopy dressed up as the Red Baron..does that mean he supported the Germans in World War 1?

It’s bizarre. I can’t get political information from the news. All the channels are just corporate mouthpieces. Pushing their views so that they can get bigger ratings and sell higher priced commercial time. That’s not a free media. People like to rip Fox News but in an Alice in Wonderland type world they do somewhat give liberals at least a chance to appear and get shouted down on their shows. The craziest thing I ever seen on TV was when a guest on Sean Hannity said that,’ Sarah Palin is a “more articulate” speaker than Barack Obama.” Juan Williams head almost exploded right on the set. (Video at the 2:30 mark and on)

The other night MSNBC had an interview of Harry Reid’s opponent in Nevada Sharon Angle. The interview (with video) consisted of a man sitting 2 feet away from Ms.Angle and yelling at her. Then we saw the one reporter chase Sharon Angle down a parking lot yelling at her trying to get answers. Where were these reporters when Barack Obama was running for President?  When a GOP strategist starts a group called “Republicans for Reid” what does that tell you? Harry Reid has been linked with Nancy Pelosi, and Barack Obama’s dangerous “liberal, marxist , communistic philosophies”, and now Republicans in Nevada are going to support him? HIM!

This is another sign of how Jesse Ventura former governor of Minnesota once said, “that it’s all fake”. The rivalry of the Republicans and Democrats are just as real as the rivalry of professional wrestlers. If you read any Socialist or Marxist material you would know that they don’t believe that Obama is a “socialist or Marxist“. Obviously with all the money that Obama raised from Wall Street and the oil companies they didn’t think he was a dangerous Marxist.

Where were all the “patriots” screaming against the violation of the Constitution when George Bush passed the Patriot Act? Where is the ACLU screaming bloody murder as Obama and Lieberman move closer and closer to government control of the internet?

“Right now China, the government, can disconnect parts of its Internet in case of war and we need to have that here too,” Lieberman told CNN’s Candy Crowley on State of the Union Sunday.

This is just more fear mongering by the chief war monger of the Senate Joe Lieberman. A man who lost his parties nomination because of his pro-war stance and was able to circumvent democracy by running as an independent. Yeah Joe we should be more like China. Let’s start by cutting off the 4 billion dollars in foreign aid that we send to Israel. I’m sure China doesn’t send them 4 billion. I agree we need to be more like China.

I can go on and on about the double standards and hypocrisy in this country. A government of the rich, by the rich, and for the rich. A government of war mongers and speakers of fear. And it doesn’t matter who gets elected. Democrats, Republicans. It doesn’t matter. We sink everyday deeper in debt. More Americans keep dying fighting the Taliban. Not Al-Qaeda. The Taliban. And everyone who cares. Just keeps sprouting off the party line. I guess that is politics 2010. It’s a disgrace. My question to you is there any room in America for moderates? What about on the internet?

Afghanistan is Rich!!!

Like the old bag lady that dies living a life of poverty and squalor only to find out she had millions in the bank. So are the fortunes of Afghanistan. Government officials told the New York Times that they believe there is up to $1 Trillion dollars worth of minerals buried in Afghanistan and the mother lode in lithium. Lithium is used in Blackberry’s, laptops, and cell phones. Basically the most important mineral of the next century and Afghanistan is loaded with it. Things just got interesting.

I was speaking with a friend yesterday asking him how he felt about the war in Afghanistan. He told me “If we knew what winning is, then yeah, we should try and win.” We were talking in the context of the War on Terror. This discovery changes everything. The find was made by the Pentagon and American geologists and the future of Afghanistan just got either brighter or darker. Brighter for the fact that the country has such huge potential to become a mega-mining country capable of employing and caring for it’s citizens. Darker for the fact that the country was basically left alone because they had “nothing” of value to other nations. All that has changed. China, Pakistan, India, Russia, and the United States all want these minerals. Who is going to get rich off them? Time will tell. But the stakes in Asia have risen considerably.

In theory all Americans must feel like the Afghan’s owe America much of the opportunity to exploit these resources. We have invested a ton of money and blood into this country and have seen very little in return. Afghanistan can use these resources to help stand up on their own two feet and re-pay the favor  to America for liberating it from the Taliban, investing in their soldiers and infrastructure.Most likely what will happen is that Afghanistan will use western loans to develop the mining operations and with those profits take care of their citizens and spend the rest on American military hardware and paying back the bankers who loaned them the money. The mined lithium will be used for the batteries in the future cars of the next century.

Conspiracy believers will now put this discovery into perspective. Out with the old theory of trans-Afganistan pipelines funneling oil and gas to the nations of India and China as America’s motivation for being there. Now it will be all about the minerals and the “knowledge” that the U.S. government knew it was there all along. It will take many, many years for this discovery to be developed and manufactured into a viable economic capability for Afghanistan. But once it is, as one government official stated, Afghanistan could become the “Saudi Arabia of lithium”.

Afghanistan wasn’t always a country filled with rocks for houses and women covered in burqua’s. It was much more. It was human. And with this discovery it gives the Afghanistan people the opportunity and the wherewithal to make it a country of  whatever the people want it to be. To be an Afghanistan that can go from rags to riches.

The country not only has lithium but it also has large deposits of niobium, a soft metal used in producing superconducting steel, rare earth elements and large gold deposits in Pashtun areas of southern Afghanistan. I personally was wondering why the Pakistani’s were helping the Taliban. Now I know. As they said in the old west “thers’ gold in dem darn hills!!” Absolutely true. And us silly Americans thought they were looking for Osama Bin Laden in those caves all this time. Silly us. To the Afghans we say,” We have shown you our goodwill now let us become partners in a new future for Afghanistan. Let us help you achieve your potential.” To the other countries of the world,simply put,”Stay the hell out of Afghanistan. You had no desire to be there before. Don’t come around now.” And to the Pakistanis’. You’ve done nothing but destabilize this country for the last 20 years. Check yourself before you wreck yourself. Leave our “friend” alone.

And to my friend. This changes everything. We are never leaving Afghanistan. Not for a long, long time. We’ve invested way too much.

Did Obama treat the Dalai Lama like garbage?

So the leader of a worldwide recognized religion comes to your home. He preaches and represents one of the most fundamental philosophies in the world. Non-Violence. He’s also won a Nobel Peace Prize. And for good measure, the country that you will compete with for the next century, hates him. So how do you treat him? Well, if your the Obama adminstration you don’t break out the fine china. No pun intended. Do you let this man into the Oval Office? No. You go to the Map room with him. Hopefully this man pointed out, where his country used to be, and how it has been taken over. So maybe the map room was quite appropriate. Do you stand in front of the cameras and shake his hand and say,”America stands with all people’s under the rule of tyranny”? Not our President. Do you make him walk by, a heap of garbage, on the way out the side door?  Yes! That’s what Obama did to the Dalai Lama.

Another foreign policy disgrace.

Thanks for coming Dalai Lama but don’t let the door hit you on the way out. Hurry, before the Chinese see us! You have got to be kidding me. To treat a world famous person like this on a visit to the White House is a disgrace! I wrote a post awhile back about how Obama and the Dalai Lama should act towards China when they met. It appears that Obama is treating the Dalai Lama like this because Obama cowhers at the thought of confronting or angering China. This President makes the Dalai Lama walk by a pile of garbage yet bows to the Mayor of Tampa. No wonder China feels so emboldened. They know weakness when they see it. Just ask Tibet.

People’s Republic Is Chinese Kommunist’s

People’s Republic Is Chinese Kommunists is not China’s official name but they should change it. It is way more accurate to describe the way this country carries themselves. The P.R.I.C.K. is once again making threats against America and promising to take action as Zhu Weigun, executive deputy head of the Communist Party’s United Front Work Department, said concerning the meeting between President Obama and the Dalai Lama,”We will take corresponding measures to make the relevant countries realize their mistakes.” You an read the entire article at -http://www.aolnews.com/world/article/china-warns-barack-obama-that-meeting-dalai-lama-would-hurt-relations/19341118 .

The P.R.I.C.K.’s once again have reared their ugly heads and spouted off at the mouth about being disrespected by someone or anyone. Should they be upset that America’s President is meeting in their eyes a separatist terrorist a.k.a the Dalai Lama? I doubt there is anyone in America who has an unfavorable view or opinion of the 14th Dalai Lama. I even read his book The Art of Happiness. He is a man that preaches to be happy you must practice “patience and tolerance”. Nothing more. Nothing less. He always has a smile on his face and for a leader of a world religion he doesn’t drape himself in Armani loafers or ridiculous hats and golden staffs. What you see is what you get. The P.R.I.C.K.’s need to get out of Tibet and return it to their rightful people the Tibetans.

This is just another threat and insult to America and it’s allies from the P.R.I.C.K.’s. From there support to nuclear crazy man Kim Jong Il (who’s father invented the toaster). Arms shipments to Sudan to continue the genocide in that country. Arms shipments to the dictatorship in Mynamar which they use to suppress and kill protestors and civilians. The P.R.I.C.K.’s just started crying to America about a $6 Billion arms deal to the nation of Taiwan. According to the P.R.I.C.K.’s they are a breakaway republic or as the world see’s it they are the free and democratic country of Taiwan. China stands in the way of strong sanctions against the democracy suppressing, nuclear arming, Holocaust denying nation of Iran. The P.R.I.C.K.’s also recently hacked into the Google mail accounts of chinese dissidents and supporters of change in that country. The world is just giving China the rope to tie us all up. America feeds the Red Dragon with it’s massive amounts of debt that they buy from us. And we turn a blind eye to their human rights abuses and just dispecable behavior from a country that hosted the Olympics just under 2 years ago.

My mesage is simple President Obama meet with the Dalai Lama. Take a photo and have it sent all over the world. If at all possible maybe you and the Dalai Lama can stick up your middle fingers at the P.R.I.C.K.’s to let them know they don’t scare anyone. Their economy is as tied up in America’s as much as anyone. Take their words with a grain of salt. Their actions speak volumes of the kind of country they are bringing to the world stage. They hate a man that preaches peace. But what do you expect from a bunch of P.R.I.C.K.’s.

The Honest State of the Union

Tonight President Barack Obama is delivering the State of the Union speech. I think we all know what to expect. Some of the rumors are that he will be talking about jobs, jobs, and jobs.  This is what Obama said in Feb. 2009 during the State of the Union, “This plan will save or create 3.5 million jobs. More than 90 percent of these jobs will be in the private sector, jobs rebuilding our roads and bridges, constructing wind turbines and solar panels, laying broadband and expanding mass transit.” I think we can say safely that he may have exagerated. Big time.

I think America needs a more honest State of the Union. One that really tells Americans what our State of the Union is about. I think I will write it for our President. I’m no political scientist but I’ve seen a bunch of these speeches over the years.

Distinguished Members of Congress, Corporate sponsored Supreme Court Justices’, Ms. Speaker of the House, and my fellow Americans. I come here tonight to tell you that we are in BIG trouble. Our economy is in a shambles. We owe more debt than an ex-con with a new credit card at a strip joint. We just keep printing money because right now the only thing America can afford is paper and ink. Not to worry! Me and the members of Congress have a plan to get America back on track. Even though our exports resemble a third world countries economy more than a 21st century world leader. We still make really good weapons that kill alot of people efficiently so for the foreseeable future we will have that to fall back on.

Over a year ago we passed the stimulus that would save the American economy. I know we all told you that we were gonna revolutionize the American infrastructure and lead the way to the 21st century green jobs and technology. A funny thing happened on the way to future. We actually spent that money on bailing out millionaires. Also we put an enormous amount of money into education and the teachers union but that has nothing to do with their support for me or my political party. And finally every American on unemployment received a $25 raise in their unemployment benefits. Now don’t spend it all in one place! I’ve surrounded myself with some of the smartest people in Washington. Our economy is being run by Daniel Snyder of the Washington Redskins. Notice we haven’t had a draft.

I know I like to blame George W. Bush for a lot of my problems that I inherited. Problems that were years in the making. But I do want to thank him for removing Saddam Hussein. I know, I know. Iraq is not something we talk about anymore because Americans aren’t being killed their everyday and fighting extremists right next to that misunderstood country Iran. But I think we should give G.W. some props and a “shout-out” in Texas.” (The Republicans applaud wildly!!!) ( Joe Wilson yells out “You lie!”) ( John McCain stands up and starts yelling at his colleagues ” The surge was my idea!! The surge was my idea!!”) ( The Democrats sit there silent) (Obama continues) ”Also I would like to personally thank President Bush for his work to raise money for Haiti and scaring the crap out of Mohmar Khaddafi so that he volunteered to personally disarm. That is one less headache I have to deal with.

Americans I am not a particularly religious president or man for that matter. But I am asking you to pray just this one time. To whatever God or Deity you people use these days. I want you to pray for an economic miracle because that’s what we need. Our companies have sent all the middle class jobs overseas and the average working man has not received a pay raise in decades. We are not only finacially bankrupt but we are also morally. Pretty soon we owe vast amounts of debt payments to our friends in China. I’m pretty sure that if we ask them they will let us slide on paying them back. That’s what friends are for. We see eye to eye on ALOT of issues and I don’t see any problem with China in the foreseeable future.

I also plan on talking to the Congress about healthcare reform. We need to get it right. Because what is the point of having unemployed healthy citizens? You can see the quality of healthcare for unemployed people in the ghettos of America. I know we can get it right. I see in the future a plan where every family, every family will be given a bottle of Tylenol and a V-8. I know everyone is screaming socialism but this plan will not! I repeat WILL NOT! Add to the deficit!

Finally what the world doesn’t know and what will be our secret is that. When you have 9 thousand nuclear weapons you don’t have to pay your debt. That’s one of the first things they teach in economics class. In the future if we need to borrow more money or need some help in the future I’m sure that other non nuclear countries will be more than happy to give in to America’s demands. So wrapping up, everything will be fine. Continue to go to Best Buy. Keep shopping. Buy houses and cars. And don’t forget. The Super Bowl is only two weeks away. Thank you and may the Federal Reserve continue to Bless America! Thank you!

Google,Ghandi, and China

In the news the past couple of days has been the story of how Google was hacked by the Communist nation of China. http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2010/01/new-approach-to-china.html?utm_campaign=en&utm_source=en-ha-ww-ww-bk-cn&utm_medium=ha&utm_term=google%20china%20news

In Google’s official blog they speak about the situation and what appeared to be the goals of the hack “we have evidence to suggest that a primary goal of the attackers was accessing the Gmail accounts of Chinese human rights activists”. Google now comes face to face with a regime that is nothing more than pure evil. Google’s non-official corporate motto or slogan is “Don’t be evil”. A refreshing theme in the corporate world that continues to put profit before the respect and health of consumers on the planet Earth. Now Google finds themselves at a crossroads. Google after the hack said that they are re-considering  their motives of doing business with the Chinese. The rest of the world should take note of Google’s decision. Do they continue doing “business” with a country that is against everything Google represents? Openness, information, knowledge, and choices.  A country that crushes political activism, religion, and free speech. Google must send a message that the world will not change for China. That China must change for the world.

Corporation’s throughout the world and governments for that matter bend over backwards for the world’s most populous dictatorship. Google can send a clear message that no longer will they play a part in the rising of the Red Dragon. That China must become a more open society if they want to do business with corporations that pledge “Don’t be evil”. Countries and corporations salivate at the opportunity to sell their wares to a nation of 1 billion people even though 300 million of those people live on a $1 a day.

China continues to grow and expand their GDP while sinking there new found riches into military hardware and continue to steal technology anyway they can. America and all freedom loving people must stand with Google on this matter. The Chinese hide their faces with Kabuke Diplomacy,economic, and cyber sabatoge on America specifically and other nations as well. America continues to pull down there pants at will to please the Red Nation with no care whatsoever as to the outcome in the long run. The 21st century wars maybe fought by keyboard as to a trigger in the past century. Why does America economically boycott Cuba and not China? Are they scared? The world has extended to China an open palm and China has responded with a smile and a dagger.

Google must take a hard line against this terrible regime. They must show that China will not be able to dictate their own terms to every single business that wants to work there. Google must use this opportunity to show the world that it can live without China. And encourage other companies to do the same. China needs these companies and money to continue to grow their economy and population. Withhold this from China and the Chinese people will see opportunity and their quality of life take a step backwards. They then will have to take a look at their own government and realize they must change that. No President in America or corporate C.E.O. had the courage in the last two decades. Google has the opportunity to, with the loudest megaphone in history, the internet.

Gandhi once said,”Throughout history good has always conquered evil.” Now is the time for Google to make their stand. Let the Chinese become a technological backwater. Let them become a nation without opportunity in the 21st century. Stand up to the government that pulls out tanks and weapons when their people take out slogans and peace. Google will be surprised at the reaction and support from the world when a company that say’s “Do no evil” lives up to their motto, comes face to face with a country that has no motto. But let’s their actions speak loud and clear, that all they are interested in is doing evil.
